<hi style=afpcap>The Army employed several aircraft types on liaison duties during World War Two including the Stinson 105 Voyager which was in production as a three seat commercial lightplane. The version purchased by the Army was allocated the designation O-62, although six commercial examples had been acquired in 1941 as the YO-54. The O-62 was later to change designation to the L-5, with all versions being known as the Sentinel in military service.</hi>
